Born in Amsterdam and now based in Belgium, Sjak Tardio carries his Italian roots with him wherever he goes. With family roots in Salerno, southern Italy has always been an important part of his identity, inspiration and music.
His music brings these different worlds together — Dutch determination, Italian passion and years of life experience. Moving between English, Italian and Dutch, Sjak creates hip-hop and rap with melodic influences and a distinctly international sound.

Amsterdam is where the story began. Salerno is where the roots lead back to.
Born and raised in Amsterdam, with a father from Salerno who moved to the Netherlands at the age of 19, Sjak grew up between Dutch life and Italian culture. Today, living in Belgium, that connection between Amsterdam, Belgium and southern Italy continues to shape both his life and his music.
